Lori Ann Krueger, age 49 of Markesan passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 26, 2014, in Green Lake County following an automobile accident.
Lori was born on November 5, 1965 in Appleton, daughter of Don and Barbara (Senecal) Powers. She attended Markesan Schools, graduating from Markesan High School in 1984. Lori attended Moraine Park with a degree in accounting. On July 20, 1985, she was united in marriage to Darren Krueger at the United Methodist Church. Lori dedicated her life to her family. She was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandma. For a number of years Lori was employed with Advocap Head Start of Markesan and was also a crossing guard for the Markesan School District. Lori was a member of the United Methodist Church. She was very active in the community as well as the church, always there to help others.
Lori is survived by Darren, her husband of 29 years; her four children; Eric (Mallory) Krueger, Kristina and her fiancé Tyler Denson, Ryan (Jessica) Krueger and Erin Krueger and significant other Vince Stensrud, all of Markesan; grandson Sawyer James Bilke and another grandchild expected in June; her mother, Barbara Powers, of Markesan; one brother, Gary Powers, of Markesan and two sisters, Susan and Cindy Powers, both of Neenah; uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Lori was preceded in death by her father Don; father-in-law Duane Krueger and mother-in-law Sharlene Barker.
A celebration of Lori’s life will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at United Methodist Church, 74 Catherine Street, Markesan, with Rev. Ethan Larson officiating.
Lori’s family will receive relatives and friends at the church on Saturday, January 3, from 9:30 A.M. until the hour of service.
A memorial fund is being established in Lori’s name.
