William "Bill" Hollis Glover

William Hollis Glover, age 90 of Markesan, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2019, at the Barrett House in Markesan.

William was born on November 6, 1928, son of William and Lenna (Radtke). On July 24, 1948, he married Generose Laybourn in Waupun, WI. Bill started his own business, Glover Metal Bldg Erectors in 1964, and is still a successful business today. He was an avid hunter and went on many hunting trips. Bill was a gun collector for many years.

Bill is survived by his wife Generose, four children, Mike (Jamie), Pat, Kathy and Corinne (John); 10 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; sister, Jeanne (Duane); brother, Jerry (Lenny); nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Maxine and Monna; brother, Gordon.

Visitation for Bill will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 23, 2019, at Markesan Community Funeral Home, 868 North Margaret Street, Markesan.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday at Markesan Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Kingston Cemetery.
