Virginia Margaret Schiller

Virginia Margaret Schiller, age 84 of Montello, passed away at her home on Monday, February 12, 2018.

Virginia was born on October 13, 1933, in South Dakota, a daughter to Edward and Mae (Hebbert) Roberts. She worked for Stretch Restaurant in Fond du Lac, for a number of years, Speed Queen  and Brakebush Brothers Inc. in Westfield for 10 years. Virginia was well known for her cake decorating, she made many cakes for family and friends. She enjoyed  hunting, fishing and crocheting  in her spare time. Virginia was President of the Montello American Legion Auxiliary Unit 351 for many years. Virginia became a Gold Star Mother in 1980 and current member of Markesan Abendroth-Connolly American Legion Auxiliary Unit 282.

Virginia is survived by her 6 children, Georgia (Dale) Schreiber of Markesan, Charles (Paulette) Hannah of Mississippi, Juanita Pepper of Fond du Lac, Rick Hannah of Fond du Lac, Joe (Kris) Hannah of Fond du Lac and Kelly Hannah of Montello; 20 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; numerous step-children and step grandchildren; sister, Maudine Stamp and brother, Gordon Roberts, both of South Dakota.

She was preceded in death by her two sons, Robert Jr. and David (Anita) Hannah; 1 great grandson; 3 sisters and 1 brother.

Visitation for Virginia will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018, from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at Kohls Community Funeral Home, 405 West Main Street, Waupun.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 17, 2018, with a brief memorial service provided by American Legion Auxiliary Unit 282 at 10:30 A.M. Burial will take place at Cattaraugus Cemetery.
