Toribia Viera

Toribia Viera, age 88 of Waupun, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022, at Waupun Memorial Hospital.

Toribia was born in Puerto Rico on April 16, 1934, a daughter of Evaristo and Inosencia (Cruz) Calderon. She loved writing poems and songs of her own, she also enjoyed singing Christian songs. Toribia loved to cook and spend time with family.

Toribia is survived by her four children, Freddy Viera, Jose A. Viera, Maria (Jose) Guimarais, and Norgie Viera; siblings, Sadoc Calderon Cruz, Hilda Calderon Cruz, and Abigail Calderon Cruz; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Antonio Viera Diaz; three children Amarilys Viera, Rene Viera, and Ruth Viera.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 11, 2022, at Kohls Community Funeral Home, 405 West Main Street, Waupun.

A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 11, 2022. Burial will take place at Forest Mound Cemetery.
