Thomas George Schave

Thomas George Schave age 68, of Waupun passed away peacefully at Beaver Dam Community Hospital on Monday, September 10, 2018.

Tom was born June 10, 1950, in Ripon, WI to George and Martha (Linetty) Schave. He served in the US Marines from 1969 to 1971. Tom married Nancy Abendroth on June 10, 1972, in Green Lake and later moved to Waupun. They lost an infant daughter Ashley in 1982 and in 2000 Nancy unexpectedly passed away. Tom retired from the various rolls he held at the State of Wisconsin, as a police officer, correctional officer and truck driver. In the last 15 years he has enjoyed the company of special friend Marilyn Veleke and become a part of the family taking on the roll of Grandpa Tom. He enjoyed his Harley Davidson motorcycle and spending time in his wood shop as well as the shooting range sharing his wisdom with friends and family.

Tom is survived by two sisters, Joan (Robert) Mathia and Judy (James) Goyette; three sisters-in-law, Linda (Ronald) Ziesmer, Mary Jo (Per) Lander and Margery Raube; special families, Gail (Mike) Wargula, Chad Veleke, Kari (Craig) Ruis; grandkids, Taylor (Katie) Veleke, Lydia Wargula, Cody, Carter and Benet Veleke, Cayden, Cyler and Corey Ruis; great granddaughter, Hattie Veleke and many nieces,nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by wife Nancy, infant daughter Ashley, special friend Marilyn Veleke, his parents, a sister Georgine Mill and a brother-in-law David Raube.

Per Tom's wishes no funeral or visitation will be held.
