Stephanie Jeanne Buteyn

Stephanie Jeanne Buteyn, age 40 of Randolph, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 16, 2023, at Prairie Ridge Health Hospital in Columbus.

Stephanie was born on May 24, 1983, the very special daughter of Gary and Jeanne Buteyn. She attended Waupun Christian, Faith Christian Schools and graduated from Waupun Public High School in 2002.

She was a baptized and confessing member of Randolph Protestant Reformed Church where she enjoyed being a member of the adult Bible Society. Stephanie did volunteer work at Bargains Galore in Waupun and at Faith Christian School. She loved music and enjoyed playing the piano and violin. She enjoyed spending time on the computer and writing. She was known by her Facebook friends for quoting a Bible verse each day. She appreciated her friends who took her out for meals and spent time with her.

She will be greatly missed by her parents and her siblings, Brian (Becky) Buteyn, Rachel (Steve) Kooima and Paul (Vanessa) Buteyn. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, Derek (Hannah) Buteyn, Lukas (Dedra) Buteyn, Brayden Buteyn, Travis (Amy) Kooima, Jessica (Jade) Vande Kamp, Lindsay (Ryan) Kroese, Hailey (Brent) Wagner, Garret Buteyn and Brody Buteyn. She is further survived by great grand nieces Sophia and Kit; great grand nephews, Ruben, Isaac, Judah, Oliver, Abel, Eli, Jonah and Shiloh.

A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 21, 2023, at Randolph Protestant Reformed Church, 229 Hammond Street, Randolph, WI 53956.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday July 21, 2023, at Randolph Protestant Reformed Church with Professor Doug Kuiper officiating. Burial will follow at Friesland Cemetery.

Memorials may be established to Randolph Protestant Reformed Church in Stephanie’s name for Protestant Reformed special education.
