Shirley Mae Viola Dain

Shirley Mae Viola Dain, age 90 of Randolph, passed away on Monday, 9, 2017, at Charleston House in Beaver Dam, WI.

Shirley was born on September 12, 1927, in the Township of Sheridan, a daughter of Albert and Viola (Fenner) Zinzow. On December 16, 1947, she was united in marriage to Harold Dain in Lake Geneva, WI. Shirley enjoyed gospel music and crosswords. She was a past member of First Congregation United Church of Christ in Fox Lake.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Chris (Dale) Hetrick of Fox Lake; two grandsons, Andrew (Lauren) Groth of Kansas and Daniel (Amy) Groth of North Carolina; two great grandchildren, Rachel Groth and Addison Groth; two sisters, Betty Trombetta and Verna (Walter) Thompson both of West Bend; sister-in-law, Gwen Zinzow of Elkhorn; cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband and two brothers, Kenneth (Dorothy) Zinzow and Marvin Zinzow.

A memorial service for Shirley will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 21, 2017, at Randolph Community Funeral Home, 208 South High Street, Randolph, WI. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Inurnment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park in Fox Lake.

Memorial fund to be established in Shirley’s name.
