She was proceeded in death by her parents; husband (David Howe), brothers Craig Erdmann and Jerry (Myrna) Erdmann.
Sharon Howe was a mighty woman of great faith. She spent countless hours interceding on behalf of her family, community, nation, and whatever else the Lord put on her heart. She was a well spring of knowledge, wisdom, and love. Sharon was a complex woman who journeyed through life always looking to go deeper with Jesus and bless those in her path with a gift, word of encouragement, or an exhortation tempered with love. She deeply understood how precious life is and that everything we do here resounds in eternity. Sharon possessed a deep appreciation for God’s creation and experiencing the world. Earlier in her life she traveled to Great Britain, spending time discovering herself and the world at large. During her lifelong marriage to David, they traveled and lived in several beautiful states, including Alaska, Colorado, Oregon and California. Sharon and David were radically saved on July 5, 1974 and started an amazing and sometimes difficult journey plowing spiritual ground for future generations. Two imperfect people brought together for such a time as this. Sharon was deeply musical and loved to worship God. She shared these passions with her kids and grandkids and instilled that same love and wonder.
At times throughout her life Sharon experienced great sorrow and hardship, including three miscarriages and years of physical ailments from a car accident and many surgeries. What separated her from many was her amazing will to live and her perseverance in faith to a loving God. She could have lost heart, but even as her body failed, and constant pain was a reality for her she maintained a steadfast devotion to God and family. Sharon was ready to live many more years despite those hardships to serve her family and friends. When physical strength failed her, Sharon shone twice as bright in her strength of character, integrity, compassion, faith, hope and love. Sharon was a beautiful rose in the midst of the thorns of life. A pillar of strength rooted in the Word of God. A loving mother and faithful wife. She ran her race well to the very end. She was a woman after God’s own heart. We love you Sharon (Mom/Grandma). Give Jesus a kiss for us.
