Seymour "Sy" Cornelius Soodsma

Seymour Cornelius Soodsma, age 74 of Randolph, passed away on Christmas Eve, Sunday, December 24, 2023, at Randolph Health Services.

Seymour was born on May 22, 1949, son of Gerrit and Jeanette (Fisher) Soodsma. Sy lived a simple life running the family farm his entire life. He enjoyed feeding the birds, listening to music and his dog Tracy. Sy loved spending time with his family and looked forward to family gatherings. He was a member of Randolph Protestant Reformed Church.

Sy is survived by his siblings, Jake (Rene) Soodsma, Susan (Jack) Regnerus, Janice (Richard) Regnerus, and Pat (Steve) Van Dyke; sister-in-law, Betty Soodsma; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Frank Soodsma and nephew, Lucas Soodsma.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Randolph Protestant Reformed Church 229 Hammond Street, Randolph, WI 53956.

A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at church with Pastor Richard Smit officiating. Private burial will follow at Friesland Cemetery.
