Sandy Ann Schulz

Sandra Ann Schulz, age 82, of Waupun, went to her heavenly home peacefully with family at her side on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at Waupun Christian Homestead.

Sandy was born on September 29, 1941, the daughter of Vern and Elsie (Klimke) Niklaus. She was raised in Markesan and graduated from Markesan High School in 1959. Sandy was united in marriage to Stephen Schulz on October 13, 1962. Over the years together they took many camping trips to Minocqua. She enjoyed fishing and bird watching and always looked forward to the next trip together. Sandy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her focus in life was on her love for her children and her role as a mother while working various jobs. She was very proud of her grandchildren and loved spending time with them. Sandy was an avid reader and dog lover. She was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday school and served as a member of the choir and ladies aid.

Sandy is survived by her husband, Steve Schulz; children, Stephanie Schulz and Todd (LaRae) Schulz; grandchildren, Riley Schulz and Collin Schulz; sister, Rosemarie Parrish. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Donna (Wyman) Kastein and Jacqueline (Marvin) Vinz; brother-in-law, Mark Parrish.

A visitation will be held on Monday, September 16, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church 113 County Park Road, Waupun, WI 53963.

A funeral service for Sandy will follow on Monday, September 16th at 11:30 a.m. at church with Past David Cooper. Burial will take place at Phelps Cemetery, Markesan, WI.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Winnebago Lutheran Academy 475 East Merrill Avenue, Fond du Lac, WI 54935.

The family of Sandy would like to thank the SSM Hospice nurses and Dr. Bre Anna Nagle for the wonderful care, as well as the staff at Waupun Christian Homestead.
