Roger Milan Stellmacher

Roger Milan Stellmacher, age 70 of Markesan, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Ripon Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

Roger was born on May 23, 1947, in Ripon, son of Milan and Delores (Bader) Stellmacher. On June 25, 1975, he was united in marriage to Catherine Berg at Faith Lutheran Church in Markesan. Roger was baptized, confirmed and a member of Faith Lutheran CLC. Roger owned and operated Stellmacher Trucking and he was a proud, hardworking truck driver for 52 years, hauling milk and sand. He enjoyed traveling to Montana, spending time at his second home in Mercer, WI and listening to music, especially Hank Williams, Jr., at his lodge. He took pride in taking care of and spending time with his family.

Beloved husband of Catherine for 42 years; father of, Kevin (Jill) Stellmacher of Port Washington, Scott (Jessica) Stellmacher of Markesan, Jeff Remmenga (Kim) of Oshkosh, Ronda Stellmacher (Scott) of Markesan and Troy Stellmacher of Peru; grandfather of, Ava, Storm, Tandia, Jakob and Memphis Belle; great grandfather of Stella; brother of Linda (David) Dillie and Barb Boelter (Danny); nieces, nephews, other relatives and many great friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation for Roger will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Markesan Community Funeral Home, 868 North Margaret Street, Markesan and on Thursday, March 8, 2018, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at Faith Lutheran Church, N1529 State Road 73, Markesan.

A funeral service for Roger will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, March 8, 2018, at Faith Lutheran Church, N1529 State Road 73, Markesan with Pastor Matthew Ude officiating. Burial will take place at the Markesan Cemetery.

A memorial fund had been established to Faith Lutheran Church, N1529 State Road 73, Markesan, WI 53946.
