Roger Ray Buros

Roger Ray Buros, age 78 of Fond du Lac, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac with family at his side.

Roger was born on April 14, 1946, in Viroqua, WI, son of Alton and Rosecelia (Adams) Buros. He entered into service with the U.S. Navy and served from 1965-1969. On December 9, 1967, Roger was united in marriage to Deborah Konings at Emmanuel Reformed Church in Waupun. He worked at Lauer’s Food Mart and was later employed at Rogge’s for a number of years until retirement. With his love of talking to people and his charisma, it became the perfect mix for being in sales.  Roger enjoyed going camping with friends and family. He had a love for cars and was a member of the Car Club and especially enjoyed attending car shows and touring. Roger’s absence leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew him but his memory will forever be cherished.

Roger is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Deborah Buros; his son Chad (Cheryl) Buros of WI and daughter, Stacey (Dale) Gamberini of FL; grandchildren and great grandchildren; three brothers, Don Buros of AZ, Dennis (Dee) Buros of FL and Greg (Becky) Buros of WI; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Rosecelia Buros.

Visitation for Roger will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Kohls Funeral Home 405 West Main Street, Waupun, WI 53963. Following the visitation, Military Honors will be provided by American Legion Post 210 Honor Guard.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Roger’s name to the SSM Hospice Home of Hope 400 County Road K, Fond du Lac, WI 54937.
