Robert Arthur Pluim

Robert Arthur Pluim, age 68 of Waupun, passed away unexpectedly at his home on July 29, 2018.

Robert was born on September 7, 1950 in Fond du Lac, WI, son of Walter and Eunice (Hyink) Pluim. In Bob’s earlier years he coached Little League Baseball. He enjoyed fishing and watching sports. Bob entered the U.S. Army June 25, 1970 to May 26, 1971. He was a decorated veteran, awarded the bronze and purple heart. Bob worked at the Dodge Correction Institution for 25 years.

Bob is survived by his two sons, Chad (Jacquie) Pluim of Brandon and Troy Pluim of Waupun; three grandchildren, Justin Pluim, Ashley Pluim and Joshua Pluim; brother, Melvin (Janice) Pluim; three sisters, Edna (Robert) Southard, Donna (Wayne) Breselow and Kathy (Chuck) Oppermann; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Wayne Pluim and two nephews.

A committal service for Robert will take place at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 16, 2018, at Forest Mound Cemetery with Military Honors provided by American Legion Post 210 Honor Guard.
