Norman Jerome Kibbel, age 67 passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022, in Fond du Lac, WI.
Norman was born on May 26, 1954, son of Jerome and Wanda (Brown) Kibbel. He graduated from Brandon High School in 1972; he continued his education at Moraine Park, graduating with an Associate’s Degree. Norman was united in marriage to Brenda Deaver on August, 12, 1978, in Brandon, WI. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his earlier years. Norman started his own truck company and subcontracted his services to Landstar-Inway and worked as a long-haul truck driver for 37 years. He was known for his welding and mechanic skills. Norman loved motorcycles and drag racing; he was Vice President of Freedom Ryders Motorcycle Club of the Midwest. He was a member of the Brandon Sno Cubs Snowmobile Club and Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Brandon.
Norman is survived by his wife Brenda Kibbel of Brandon; two sons, Justin Kibbel of Madison and Gerrad (Dana) Kibbel of Waupun; three grandsons, Cooper, Easton and Krew Kibbel; two sisters, Kathleen Wilke of FL and Violet Russell of Rosendale; brother, Otto (Mary) Tulowitzky of Rhinelander; further survived by in-laws, Kenneth (Billie) Deaver, Michael (Molly) Deaver, Jake (Katie) Deaver, Carla (Earl) Norenberg, Mae (Todd) Strehlow and David (Deb) Deaver; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers-in-law, Charlie Wilke, John Russell and Ron Deaver; parents-in-law, Ames and Veronica Deaver; canine companion, Hoyt.
A visitation for Norman will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church 107 South Prairie Street, Brandon, WI.
A memorial service will follow at 6:00 P.M. at church with Pastor Bob Rosenberg officiating.
