Nora Ann Radtke, age 103 of Markesan passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021, at her home with loving family at her side.
Nora was born in Dalton on January 7, 1918, a daughter of Sam and Minnie (Radiske) Horton. She entered into service with the U.S. Army during World War II and served from 1943-1945. Nora was united in marriage to Leo Radtke on June 8, 1946, in Kingston, WI. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Manchester.
Nora is survived by her son, Greg Radtke of Princeton; five grandchildren, Annette Radtke, Angie (Jerry) Hanefeld, Lori (Jack) Scott, Christy (Andy) Lawson, all of Markesan and Kayla (Brian) Igl of Fox Lake; thirteen great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Arleen Thiem, and special friend Shirley Zimmerman; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Leo; parents; three brothers and three sisters.
Visitation for Nora will be held from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Friday, November 19, 2021, at Markesan Community Funeral Home, 868 North Margaret Street, Markesan, WI.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, November 19, 2021, at Markesan Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Plagenz officiating. Burial will take place at Salemville Cemetery.
