Nancy Jo Asmus

Nancy Jo Asmus, age 72 of Waupun, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Waupun Memorial Hospital with family at her side.

Nancy was born in Port Washington on August 29, 1950, daughter of Roland and Helen (Lenz) Asmus. She was a graduate of Lomira High School and continued her education at Moraine Park with a dieticians degree. Nancy was a cook at Dodge Correctional for 15 years. She loved traveling to different casinos to play bingo with family and friends. Nancy enjoyed music, especially Elvis Presley.

Nancy is survived by her siblings, Anthony Asmus, Patricia (Gordon) Buchholz and Sandra Kahlhammer; nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends, Lynn, Kim and Carol. Further survived by her many bingo buddies.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Michael and Lynn Asmus.

No services will be held per Nancy’s wishes.
