Michel "Mikey" Lester Wortman Jr.

Michel Lester Wortman Jr., age 27 of Waupun, passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at his home with his loving wife at his side.

Michel was born on April 6, 1994, son of Michael and Yvonne (Bonnell) Wortman. He graduated from Markesan High School in 2012. Mikey married Mary Crawford on October 27, 2017, and they had one daughter, Dixie Marie. He enjoyed family gatherings and farming. Mikey loved going to local races and watching Nascar. He will be deeply missed by many.

Mikey is survived by his loving wife, Mary Wortman; daughter, Dixie Wortman; father, Michael Wortman Sr.; mother-in-law, Sue Schimmel; brother-in-law, Ben Crawford; brothers, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and family friend Dan West.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Yvonne; father-in-law, Roger Schimmel, paternal and maternal grandparents; Aunt Dorothy; Uncle Eddie and Uncle Alfred.

Private service will be held.
