Marjorie "Marge" Irma Miller

Marjorie Irma Miller, age 84 of Fond du Lac, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at Woodlands Assisted Living Center.

Marge was born on March 19, 1936, in Burnett, WI, a daughter of Harold and Irma (Kraemer) Neitzel. She was united in marriage to Thomas Miller on May 25, 1962. Marge worked as a bookkeeper for 33 years and retired at the age of 77. She loved to play cards with her siblings, baking, playing bingo and spending time with her family. Marge was formerly a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Brandon until she moved to Fond du Lac where she became a member of St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Marge is survived by her children, Susan (Michael Smit) of Brandon and Jerry (Deb) Miller of Waupun; 6 grandsons; 4 siblings, Richard Neitzel, Betty Vis, Charlotte Tabbert and Sandra Neitzel; a special friend, Hazel Schmuhl; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 34 years, Thomas; a brother, Robert (Kay) Neitzel; 2 brothers-in-law, John Tabbert and Bill Vis and a sister-in-law, Julie Rhodes.

A private family service will be held.

A memorial fund has been directed to Agnesian Hospice Hope, 239 Towbridge Drive, Fond du Lac, WI 54937.

Marge’s family extends their appreciation to the Woodlands Assisted Living Center and Agnesian Hospice Hope for their love and support during her final days.
