Marie Elizabeth Zills

Marie Elizabeth Zills, age 94 of Waupun, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018, at Prairie Ridge.

Marie was born on June 15, 1923, a daughter of Henry and Clara (Hollander) Fraaza. On July 25, 1951, she was united in marriage to Archie Zills in Fond du Lac, WI.

Marie is survived by three daughters, Barb (John) Liermann of Bonners Ferry, ID, Marilyn (Earl) Van Ruiswijk of Rosendale and Jane (Jeff) Brown of Oakfield; one son, Robert (Cindy) Zills of Manawa; a daughter-in-law, Dianna Zills of Moyie Springs, ID; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a sister, Clara Hettinga; a brother-in-law, Otto (Amber) Zills; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie in 1978; a son in infancy, Roger; a son, Wayne; her parents; two sisters, Effie (John) Burmeister and Cornelia (Wilbur) Dittbrender; two brothers, Bert (Gertrude) Fraaza and Peter (Gretchen) Fraaza.

Visitation for Marie will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. on Monday, April 16, 2018, at Trinity Reformed Church, 521 South Madison Street, Waupun.

A funeral service for Marie will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, April 16, 2018, at church with Pastor Brent Matzen officiating. Burial will follow at Avoca Cemetery in Oakfield.
