Lynn Jean Bankert

Lynn Jean Bankert, age 69 of Randolph, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at her home.

Lynn was born on March 17, 1954, in Washington, the daughter of Richard and Betty (Huey) Roach. She was united in marriage to Doug Bankert on November 5, 1986, in Wyocena, Wisconsin. Lynn was formerly employed at Jung Seed Company and was a Sunday school teacher at Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church. She enjoyed reading, trout fishing and gardening. Lynn was an avid Green Bay Packer and Wisconsin Badgers fan. Lynn’s grandchildren meant the world to her, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Lynn is survived by her husband, Doug Bankert of Randolph; children, Eric (Morgan) Schindler of Stoughton and Renee (Doug) Wheeler of South Beloit, IL; grandchildren, Sebastian, Zachary, Natasha and Lucas; father, Richard Roach Sr.; brother, Robert Roach. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Roach and brother, Richard Roach Jr.

Visitation for Lynn will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Randolph Community Funeral Home, 208 South High Street, Randolph, WI 53956. A memorial service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Randolph Community Funeral Home.
