Lulubelle "Molly" Scharf

LuluBelle “Molly” Scharf, age 87, of Markesan, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at her home with family by her side.

Molly was born on February 6, 1936, in Hancock, Wisconsin, the daughter of Alfred and Edna (Bartlett) Scott. On June 4, 1955, she was united in marriage to Edward Scharf at Grace Lutheran Church in Hancock, Wisconsin.

Molly is survived by her four children, Pamela McDougal of Markesan, Dawn (John) Stanonik of Ripon, Chris (Jacque) Scharf of Prairie Du Sac and Brenda (Rich) Waters of Markesan; four grandchildren, Nikki McDougal and her significant other Joey Kurowski, Katrina (Dean) Kurowski, Andrew (Hannah) Jones and Johnna Stanonik; six great grandchildren, Mistylynn, Miranda, Lucille, Keagan, Landon and Ethan; brother, Raymond “Rocky” Scott; sister-in-law, Janet Wright. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Scharf in 1993; daughter, Debra Butschlick in 2004; two children in infancy; three sisters and four brothers.

A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Markesan United Methodist Church, 74 E Catherine St, Markesan WI 53946.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Markesan United Methodist Church with Pastor Paul Yoder and Pastor Joseph Christopher officiating. Burial will follow at Markesan Memorial Cemetery.
