Louis Edward Leizinger

Louis Edward Leizinger Jr., age 74 of Fox Lake, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at his home in Fox Lake.

Louie was born on October 6, 1943, in Milwaukee, a son of Louis and Mabel (Kanitz) Leizinger. He was employed at Milwaukee Post Office until he retired at age 55 and moved to Fox Lake. Louie loved to fish, hunt and play cards. He was past president of the Fox Lake property owners, head of the fish stocking committee and the handicap fishing outing. He loved Fox Lake.

Louis is survived by a sister, Nancy (Tom) Mueller of Fox Lake; two nephews, Mark (Diane) Mueller and Mike (Carolyn) Mueller; four great nieces; three great nephews; one great-great nephew; one great-great niece; dear friends, Glenn Wiesmueller, Tom Larson and Denise.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation for Louie will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018, from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service at Annunciation Catholic Parish, 305 West Green Street, Fox Lake.

A funeral mass for Louie will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at church with Fr. John Radetski officiating.

Memorials will be donated to Fish Stocking in Fox Lake in Louie’s name.
