Linda Lou Peterson

Linda Lou Peterson, age 69 of Brandon, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at her home.

Linda was born on August 11, 1951, in Waupun, a daughter of Sam and Marion (Bernath) Talma. On November 16, 1974, she was united in marriage to Rick Peterson at Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac. Linda enjoyed shooting pool, darts, bowling and going to dinner with friends. She also really enjoyed country music, going to Country USA and attending with plays with her daughter, granddaughter and friends. Linda especially loved her children, grandchildren and fur babies.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Rick Peterson of Brandon; a daughter, Danielle (Dan) Pickart of Brandon; 2 adopted daughters, Lisa (Trent) Vanderwal of Brandon and Heather (Doug) Koch and family of MI; 3 grandchildren, Jarred, Conner, Hailey; 4 adopted grandchildren, Austin, Mickie, Amelia and Jillian; 3 siblings, Michael Talma of Fond du Lac, Cheryl (Dennis) Millard of Richford and Gary (Sandy) Talma of Colgate; 3 siblings-in-law, Regina DeBoer of Ripon, Norman (Lorie) Peterson and Matthew (Barbara) Peterson both of Minong; special friends, John (Judy) Hutter, Todd (Karla) Schmuhl, Bev and Huck “Steve” Hanafelts and Sue Gustin all of Brandon; her fur babies, Bella and Hazel; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her parents-in-law, Reginald (Violet) Peterson.

A memorial service for Linda will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 13, 2021, at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 107 South Prairie Street, Brandon, with Pastor Bob Rosenberg officiating.
