Lileh Lucy Wendlandt

Lileh Lucy Wendlandt, age 87 of Waupun, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2019, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.

Lileh was born on March 20, 1932, in Hartford, Wisconsin, a daughter of John and Marie (Firks) Jansen. She was united in marriage to James Wendlandt on September 18, 1954, in Hartford, WI. Lileh enjoyed gardening, needle point and making quilts for family and friends. For many years she worked side by side with her husband at Jim’s Bike Shop on Young Street in Waupun. Lileh was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Lileh is survived by her children, Judy (Dick) Fritz of Las Vegas, NV, Debra Wendlandt of Berlin, Ray Wendlandt of Beaver Dam and June (Bill) Burns of Metamora, MI; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Wendlandt and brother, Fritz Jansen.

A memorial service for Lileh will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Thursday, June 27, 2019, at Kohls Community Funeral Home, 405 West Main Street, Waupun, with Pastor Jeff Nicla officiating. Burial will take place at Highland Memory Gardens.
