Lia Jean Mittelstadt

Lia Jean Mittelstadt, age 49 of Randolph, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, June 22, 2018.

Lia was born on April 30, 1969, in Cook County, Illinois, a daughter of Eugene and Dolores (Wychelewski) Grzeslo. She was united in marriage to Orin Mittelstadt on October 28, 1995, in Green Bay, WI. Lia adored many animals and ran an animal rescue shelter outside of Randolph for a number of years. She was a Journalist for the Columbus Journal in the late 1990’s. Lia also ran several blogs to help others with bipolar and kidney disease. She enjoyed communicating with others on facebook and playing online games.

Lia is survived by her husband Orin; two daughters, Kassidy Mittelstadt of Ripon and Mackenzie Mittelstadt of Randolph and one step-daughter, Michelle (Aaron) Crabb of Medford; two step-grandchildren, Hudson and Braxton Crabb; two brothers, Daniel Grzeslo of Randolph and Anthony (Debbie) Grzeslo of Chicago, IL; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Cindy Warzinski.

Visitation for Lia will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at Randolph Community Funeral Home, 208 South High Street, Randolph.

A celebration of Lia’s life will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at 6:00 P.M. at Randolph Community Funeral Home.

A memorial fund has been established in Lia’s name.
