Leroy Schmidt

LeRoy Schmidt, age 95 of Randolph, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam.

LeRoy was born on March 13, 1929, on a farm north of Randolph, son of Irvin and Edna (Paitrick) Schmidt. He attended Pinewood one room school north of Randolph. LeRoy graduated from Randolph High School in 1947, and was drafted in the Army in 1951. He received training at Fort Eustis, Virginia from there, to Japan for a year and half, discharged from Fort Carson, Colorado in March 1953. LeRoy then worked at Monarch Range for a year and 37 years at Busse Brothers in Randolph until he retired.

Inurnment will take place at Central Wisconsin Veteran Memorial Cemetery N2665 County Road QQ, Waupaca, WI 54981.
