Kristine Peterson

Kristine Peterson (Pitersone) a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 36, on December 18, 2024, at Meriter Hospital in Madison, surrounded by her loving family, after a long illness.

She was born on July 11, 1988, in Liepaja, Latvia, to Vadims Zubaks and Ludmila (Bedorova) Zubaka. Kristine grew up with a passion for life and learning. She graduated from the University of Liepaja with a bachelor’s degree in tourism management, a testament to her love for connecting with people and exploring new places.

On September 2, 2011, Kristine married the love of her life, Christopher Peterson, in Liepaja. In 2012, she immigrated to Wisconsin, where the couple settled in Randolph. Together, they created a warm and loving home, raising their cherished daughter, Amina Peterson. Kristine found her greatest joy in caring for her family and home, where her devotion and gentle nature were felt daily.

Kristine will be remembered for her selflessness, her tenacity, and her unwavering devotion to her family. Her memory lives on in the hearts of her husband Christopher, her daughter Amina, and all who knew and loved her.

Kristine’s gentle spirit and love for her family will forever remain in our hearts.
