Kristine "Kris" Kay Hannah

Kristine Kay Hannah, age 56 of Fond du Lac, passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, following a short battle with melanoma.

Kris was born on May 31, 1962, in Beaver Dam, WI, a daughter of James and Darlene (Germer) Hupf. On January 16, 1982, she was united in marriage to Stewart Marx and had 2 children, Stephanie and Benjamin. On May 2, 1998, she was united in marriage to Joe Hannah in Rosendale, WI. She was employed at Finlay Industries formerly known as Sajac in Beaver Dam, Beatrice Cheese in Mayville and Alliance Laundry in Ripon. Kris enjoyed flower gardening, feeding and watching the birds and thrift shopping. She looked forward to traveling with her friend, Carol Hoyt to Ashland Wisconsin and Florida. Her biggest passion was her grandkids and spending time with them.

Kris is survived by her husband, Joe; children, Stephanie (Chris) Baker of Horicon, Benjamin (Katie) Marx of Mayville, Kevin Hannah of Fond du Lac and Joseph Hannah (Amy Hoople) of Green Lake; 6 grandchildren, Dakota Hannah, Abigail, Lukas and Everett Baker, Anthony and Brayden Marx; her mother, Darlene Hupf of Green Lake; two siblings, Kim Kirchoff of Westfield and James Hupf of Portland, OR; brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, James; parents-in-law; her first husband, Stewart Marx and three brothers-in-law.

Visitation for Kris will be held from 2:30 to 3:30 P.M. on Saturday, August 4, 2018, at Kohls Community Funeral Home, 405 West Main Street, Waupun.

A funeral service for Kris will be held at 3:30 P.M. on Saturday, August 4, 2018, at Kohls Community Funeral Home with Rev. Wesley Wassell officiating.

A memorial fund has been established to St. Jude’s, 5353 Wayzata Blvd. Suite 500, St Louis Park, MN 55416.
