Kirstie Jean Riese

Kirstie Jean Riese, age 32 of Horicon, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. A beloved daughter, devoted mother, and cherished friend, Kirstie's spirit and creativity touched the lives of all who knew her.

Kirstie was born on June 22, 1992, in Bradenton, Florida, the daughter of Joseph Riese and Denise (Talley) Wiersma. Kirstie was a proud graduate of Waupun High School, class of 2010, where her bright personality and artistic talents began to shine. Her love for life was reflected in her many interests; she found joy in fishing, painting rocks, listening to live music and going to the casino.

Above all else, Kirstie treasured her time spent with family and friends. Her devotion as a mother was unwavering, and she cherished every moment spent with those she loved. Kirstie’s journey was marked by the profound love she shared with Corbin, the love of her life, who sadly passed away alongside her. Together, they shared many beautiful memories and adventures that will forever be treasured.

Kirstie's memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends who will remember her for her warmth, creativity, and unwavering love. As we celebrate her life, let us remember the laughter, the love, and her vibrant spirit.

Kirstie is survived by her son, Logan Riese; mother, Denise (Steve) Wiersma; father, Joe (Tammy) Riese; brother, Kyle Riese; half siblings, LeAnne and Alex; step brothers, John and Bradley; grandmother, Donna Talley; and the family of Corbin Crittenden. She is further survived by cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Riese, grandfather, Cleburn Talley; and aunt, Ann Riese.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Kohls Community Funeral Home, 405 West Main Street, Waupun WI 53963.

A Celebration of Life service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor David Knuth officiating.
