Justin "Juddy" Herwig, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 30, 2017.
He was born on October 31,1975, to Harlan and Linda (Hill) Herwig in Portage. Juddy graduated from Markesan High School in 1994. His passions included music, art and of course tattooing. He loved his time playing in his band and eventually opening up his own tattoo shop. In 2005, Juddy met the loves of his life in Brooke and Austin. They married on June 3, 2006, at the United Methodist Church in Markesan and made their home in Dalton, eventually adding 3 more kids to the mix.
The family enjoyed many years with Marquette Community Church where Juddy accepted Christ as his Savior and they made many lifelong friends. In 2013, Brooke and Juddy were baptized. What an amazing day that was.
Juddy was currently employed by Super 8 in Portage starting at the front desk. He eventually became supervisor and most recently the manager of the hotel in 2016. He loved his job and all the people he met there.
His passion for art and music has left him with many friends from all walks of life, a true friend to anyone who needed one. Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting Juddy knew he was a great story teller and a very special kind of guy. His love for his wife and kids was evident to everyone who talked to him. They were the world to him.
Thank you for the wonderful man you were Juddy, and all the beautiful memories. Until we meet again...
