Joyce Marie Schlefke

Joyce Marie Schlefke, age 81 of Oakfield, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2017 at her home.

Joyce was born on June 11, 1935 in Dodge county, a daughter of Joseph and Marie (Hunke) Eggers. On October 11, 1958 she was united in marriage to Harold Schlefke in Oakfield. Joyce was a strong, independent and hard working woman. She enjoyed her rustic farm life, her flowers, gardening and had a special love for animals. Joyce spent many hours cooking and baking. She looked forward to her time at the casino and playing bingo at the family reunions.

Joyce is survived by her son, Jerry Schlefke; sisters, Josie, Annie, Elaine, Pauline, Arlene, Pat, Grace and Mary; brothers, Jim and Joe; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harold; brothers, Terry and David and sisters, Kathy and Glady.

Visitation for Joyce will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Kohls Community Funeral Home, 405 West Main Street, Waupun.
