Joyce Olive Idelle Dukelow

It is with great sadness that the family of Joyce Olive Idelle Dukelow announces her passing, on Sunday, December 16, 2018, at the age of 86. Joyce was born on May 29, 1932, in Crookston, MN, to Olga and “Nibs” Oliver.

Joyce met Richard “Duke” Dukelow in Fargo, ND, and they married on May 23, 1959. Later that year they moved to Markesan, WI, where they raised their children and were devoted members of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Manchester. Some of Joyce’s favorite times out and about were dancing with her husband and shopping.

Joyce will be remembered by her husband of 59 years; children, Phyllis (Dick) Birk, Todd (Jan) Dukelow and Rhonda Bocek; 9 grandchildren, Jeffrey, Thomas (Breanna), Amber (Andy), Tyler (Miracle), Alex (Hannah), Max (Megan), Anthony (Evelyn), Alyson (Jeff) and Casey (Ben); 10 great-grandchildren with another 2 on the way; a sister, Nancy and a brother, Art (Bonnie); nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Audrey (Don); her brother, Maurice; mother-in-law, Marjorie (Dukelow) Markham; a brother-in-law, Joe and a sister-in-law, Alice.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, from 9:30 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, W3377 Main Street, Manchester.

Funeral services for Joyce will be held at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Michael Plagenz officiating. Interment will follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery.
