Jana Lou Firari

Jana Lou Firari, age 82 of Ripon, passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2018, at Waupun Memorial Hospital.

Jana was born on May 14, 1936, in Cazenovia, WI, a daughter of William and Loretta (Calkins) Miller. In high school, she played multiple instruments and especially the piano. She used to sing at the radio station in Baraboo and would sing and play piano for weddings and dances. Jana worked at Brandt’s Inc. in Watertown for 30 years. She volunteered at Planned Parenthood in Jefferson assisting the physician. Jana loved visiting with others, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jana is survived by two children, Rene (Frank) Will of Brandon and Rick (Dalene) Firari of Juneau; Six grandchildren, Kerry-Jean (Paul) Beeney, Clinton Firari, Kevin Firari, Seth (Rebi) Will, Cody Will and Shanda Will; two great-grandchildren, Albus and Remus; a brother, William (Donna) Miller of Watertown; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Louis “Gary” Firari and Kevin Firari.

Visitation for Jana will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Kohls Community Funeral Home, 405 West Main Street, Waupun.

A funeral service for Jana will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at Kohls Community Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Sheppard officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens.

A memorial fund has been established in Jana’s name.
