James Henry Dzbinski, age 68 of Berlin, passed away on Monday, July 10th, 2017, in his home in Berlin, Wisconsin.
Jim was born on July 5 th , 1949, in Waterford, WI, a son to Bill and Gloria (Trilling) Dzbinski. He attended Catholic school in Waterford, WI, received a GED from Markesan High School in 1968 and was a US Navy veteran serving aboard ship from 1968 to 1972.
On October 2 nd , 1971, Jim was united in marriage to Louise Squires in Fairwater, WI. On November 22, 1974, they were blessed with the birth of their son, Cory James. Jim loved being a dad and had great joy in watching his son mature into a young man. Jim was a chef in his earlier years and always maintained his love for cooking. He was also an unwavering Green Bay Packer fan, loved muscle cars and was an avid fisherman. His favorite days were on the lake with his wife Louise, son Cory and his brothers and sisters.
Jim is survived by his son, Cory of San Diego, CA; brothers, Steve and John; sisters, Janie, Anne, Amy, Grace, and Mary; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, parents-in-law, grandparents and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral service for Jim will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, July 14, 2017 at Markesan Community Funeral Home, 868 N. Margaret Street, Markesan. Visitation will be held on Friday morning from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service.
A memorial fund has been established in Jim’s name .
