Jackie Sylvester Chester Hoch, age 71, of Waupun, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, August 18, 2017.
Jack was born on December 18, 1945, in Fond du Lac, WI, a son of Sylvester and Dorothy (Burns) Hoch. Jack enjoyed going hunting and fishing but his greatest joy was sharing the Gospel. For years Jack would share God’s love through in-prison ministry. His heartfelt words were heard by many. Jack attended bible camp, numerous bible studies at area churches and volunteered his time at the local food pantries. He worked at International Paper Company in Fond du Lac until his retirement.
Jack is survived by his daughter, Tami Owens of Neenah and son, Tom (Holly) Hoch of Green Lake; grandchildren Amanda McCoy, Kteile (Jackson) Smith, Arron Hoch, Autumn Owens, Sammi Hoch, Krissy Hoch, Tyler Hoch, Shaely Hoch, Ella Hoch; great grandchildren Carson Peters, Enzo Caraballo, Sienna Mann, Taleeya Smith, Paxton Smith, Quinncie Grace Smith, Alana Hoch; sister, Dorie (Marty) Strook; brother-in-law, Mel Sprague; special friends, Chris Burnett and Anne Hedman; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Timothy Hoch and sister, Mary Sprague.
Funeral service for Jack will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday, August 21, 2017, with visitation from 9 :00 A.M. until the time of service at Crossroads Fellowship, 846 East Main Street, Waupun. Burial to follow in the Rosendale Cemetery.
A memorial has been established in his name.
