Glen Ervin Tessmann, age 78 of Friesland, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at his home.
Glen was born on October 9, 1939, in Beaver Dam, WI, a son of Ervin and Eunice (Krueger) Tessmann. After graduating from Randolph High School he attended UW Platteville and graduated with a degree in Industrial Arts. On May 20, 1961, he was united in marriage to Loretta Williams at the First Presbyterian Church in Cambria. Glen taught industrial arts in Fort Atkinson for 3 years and was a carpenter in the Randolph area for many years. He enjoyed woodworking, mechanics and helping friends and family. Glen was an avid Packer and Badger fan.
Glen is survived by his wife, Loretta; two children, Brian Tessmann of Woodstock, IL, and Barry (Lisa) Tessmann of Waukesha; two grandchildren, Ashley and Tyler Tessmann; a brother-in-law, Wesley (Carmen) Williams of Friesland; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dean (Janet) Tessmann.
Visitation for Glen will be held from 9:30 A.M. until the hour of service at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 101 First Street, Friesland.
A funeral service for Glen will be at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, May 21, 2018, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor John Unnasch officiating. Burial will follow at the Friesland Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been directed to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Friesland.
Randolph Community Funeral Home is assisting the family.
