Gerald Krueger, age 78, passed away at his home on Friday, November 8, 2019, with family at his side.
Gerald was born on January 21, 1941, in Milwaukee, a son of Theodore and Violet (Schwendeman) Krueger. He was united in marriage to Mary Herberer on September 12, 1959, in Milwaukee, WI. Gerald owned and operated Home Improvements for 50 years, Trails End Tavern for 5 years, Montello Flea Market for 10 years and Krueger Auction Service for 14 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, whether it was hunting, fishing or sitting in the sun. Gerald enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his three children, Sandra (Mark) Brekke of Pardeeville, Gerald G. Krueger of Marquette and Mary Jean (Mike Zabel) Reading of Marquette; nine grandchildren, Susan, Brandon, Nicholas, Brianne (Pete), Jordan, Bradley, Kyle, Taylor and Andrew; two great-grandchildren, Addison and Alexis; sister, Colleen Boje; brothers, Norman (Patricia) Krueger and Dennis (Deanna) Krueger; sisters-in-law, Gloria Krueger, Gloria Brester and Marjorie Heberer; Tippy Toe, his fuzzy companion; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary in 2018; his daughter, Kim (Brian) Biddle; brothers, Theodore Krueger and Quintin Krueger.
Visitation for Gerald will be held from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 17, 2019, at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 266 Sherman Avenue, Marquette, WI.
A memorial service for Gerald will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 17, 2019, at St Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church, with Pastor Michael Plagenz officiating.
