Georgie Ann Paff

Georgie Ann Paff (89) went home to Jesus, peacefully on January 20, 2022, while holding the hand of her eldest son.

Georgie was the daughter of James and Harriet Kopvlas and graduated from Neenah High School.  She married the love of her life, Armin Paff in 1952, and they were married for 68 years.  Their marriage was a beautiful example of true commitment.  She worked in a variety of fields including legal and education.  Voting rights were important to her and she served for years on the election board.  But, above all, Georgie was a loving wife, devoted mother of 4, grandmother of 7, great-grandmother of 10 and Godmother.  She will be remembered as a person with a strong devotion to her faith, passionately singing in her church choir at Immanuel Lutheran.  She was warm, kind and good humored, with a special smile that will never be forgotten and a wave for everyone.

A day at mom’s/grandma’s meant a day of good food, as she always wanted her family to be full and content.  It was joked that her headstone would read “Can I get you anything?”  She warmed our hearts with her beautiful letters, which were encouraging and uplifting.    She was truly a blessing to everyone who knew her.  While missing her we rejoice in knowing Heaven gained another beautiful voice in its choir.

Georgie is preceded in death by her husband Armin and her parents.  Left to mourn her loss are her four children, Armin (Julie) Paff, Greg (Nancy) Paff, Karen Knaus and Gigi Weber; grandchildren; Matt Paff, Ryan (Laura) Paff, Katie Paff, Sarah (Eric) Ellinger, Jade (Chris) Janssen, Angela Weber and Jacob Weber, great-grandchildren, Aimee, Alice, Madeline, Brodie, Logan, Landon, Beau, Belle, Kodi and Finley.

Visitation for Georgie will be held from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Kohls Community Funeral Home, 405 West Main Street, Waupun.

A funeral service will follow at 11:00 A.M. at Kohls Funeral Home with Chaplain Dennis Richards officiating. Entombment will take place at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
