Generose Kathryn Glover

Generose Kathryn Glover (Laybourn), age 93, of Kingston, passed away on Monday, May 6th, 2024 at the Barrett House in Markesan.

Generose was born on February 15, 1931, in Brookfield, WI; daughter of William and Viola Laybourn (Engelking). On July 24, 1948, she married William Glover in Waupun, WI.

Generose was a passionate gardener, participating in several garden walks through the years. In her later years she had a love for miniature horses, which she raised and showed in miniature horse shows.

Generose is survived by four children, Mike, Pat, Kathy, Corinne (John); 10 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William, and three brothers.

Visitation for Gen will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. on Friday, May 10th, 2024, at Markesan Community Funeral Home, 868 North Margaret Street, in Markesan.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday following the visitation at Markesan Community Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Zacharias officiating. Burial will take place at Kingston Cemetery.
