Faye Marie Bixby

Faye Marie Bixby, age 59, of Waupun passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at the Waupun Christian Home surrounded by her loving family.

Faye was born on April 1, 1958, in Waupun, a daughter of Richard and Ruth (Weeks) Bixby. Faye worked at Green Valley Enterprises in Beaver Dam for 35 years, 27 of those years she would work at Merle Wallace Purvic Center in Geneva, Alabama during the winter months. Faye was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed her country music. She attended many concerts including Country USA for many years. She participated in Special Olympics, winning several 1 ^st place awards. Faye was a lifelong member, baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Waupun.

Faye was always the happiest when she was with her family. She loved all her family and friends. If you were fortunate to know Faye, consider yourself blessed. We have received much more from her than we could ever return. She brought so much joy, love and laughter to our family.

Faye is survived by her brother, Jim (Mary Ann) Bixby of Harford, AL, one sister, Bev (Rick) Hartwig of Waupun; nieces and nephews, Rich (Misty) Bixby, Geneva, AL, Kellie (Jason) Carlee, Calera, AL, Stephanie Hartwig, of Waupun, Jim (Ashley Peterson) Hartwig, of Mauston; great nieces and nephews, Ross Bixby, Grayton and Katie Grace Carlee, numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and numerous aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, from 9:00 – 11:00 A.M. at Kohls Funeral Home.

A funeral service for Faye will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at Kohls Community Funeral Home, 405 West Main Street, Waupun. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens.

A memorial fund has been established for the Christian Home and Rehabilitation Center, 331 Bly Street, Waupun, WI 53963 and Green Valley Enterprises, 1223 Madison Street, Beaver Dam, WI 53916.
