Donna Marie Gedamke

Donna Marie Gedamke, age 91 of Waupun, was called to her heavenly home on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at Waupun Christian Homestead with family by her side.

Donna was born on March 1, 1932, in Kingston, Wisconsin, a daughter of George and Laura (Dahlke) Buchholz. On July 26, 1958, she was united in marriage to Ronald Gedamke at Zion Lutheran Church in Kingston, Wisconsin. Donna enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at the cottage, gardening and playing piano. Her greatest passion in life was playing the church organ for over 70 years. Donna was a charter member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Donna is survived by her three children, Mark (Diana) Gedamke, Marie (Keith) Broadway and Thomas Gedamke; five grandchildren, Heather (Joshua) Thone, Joshua (Amanda) Gedamke, Jason (Chelsea) Gedamke, Jessica (Kyle) Wendlandt and Elizabeth (Alex Fenrich) Broadway; two step grandchildren, Dan (Stephanie) Broadway and Julie (Justin) Schmidt; three great grandchildren, Oliver and Aubrey Thone and Aurora Gedamke; five step great grandchildren, Treyten and Braxten Schmidt, Layla and Landry Broadway and Ashton Waters; sisters-in-law, Beverly Buchholz and Loretta Gedamke. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Gedamke; two sisters, Lauretta Helmer and Arlene Werth and brother, George Buchholz.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 113 County Park Rd, Waupun, WI 53963.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor David Cooper officiating. Burial will take place at Grand View Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 3, 2023.
