Donald Semrau, age 82 of Waupun, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, March 15, 2019.
Donald was born on August 28, 1936, son of Raymond and Ethel (Kindschuh) Semrau. He was united in marriage to Judy Lee on February 17, 1958, in Seoul, Korea. Judy passed away in 1997, and he later married Annie Cunningham. Donald owned and operated The 151 Hunting Club for over 50 years, meeting many friends along the way. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, a man of all trades with a heart of gold. Donald was a member of the American Legion Post 210 of Waupun.
Don is survived by his son, Mike Semrau of Waupun; former wife, special friend, Annie Semrau; sister-in-law, Ruth Semrau; good friend and caregivers, David (Jenny) Fellin of Waupun; Rob Knutsen, Jim Wangard and Charles Drucke; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy; son, William Semrau; brother, James Semrau.
Visitation for Don will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2019, from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at Kohls Community Funeral Home, 405 West Main Street, Waupun. Burial will follow at Forest Mound Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the American Legion Post 210 Honor Guard.
