Delores Lorraine Pluim

Delores Lorraine Pluim, age 87 of Waupun, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at Prairie Ridge in Waupun with family at her side.

Delores was born on May 9, 1936, in Waupun, daughter John and LaVerne (Kuik) Willemsen. Delores was a graduate of 1954, Waupun High School. On June 15, 1954, she married David Pluim. Delores lived in Waupun all of her life. She was a member of the Netherland Reformed Church.

Delores is survived by her six children, Lois (Gary) Ring, Jan (Gary) Beek, David (Jane) Pluim, Arnold (Barb) Pluim, Leah (Brent) Nummerdor and Rachel (Larry) Marchand. She is also survived by her nine grandsons and three granddaughters, many great grandchildren and a brother, Jim Kuik; sister-in-law, Betty Bruins; brother-in-law, David (Vicki) Brink; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Pluim in 2009, daughter, Kaye, and sisters, Joan Bruins and Joyce Brink; sister-in-law, Phyllis Kuik and brother-in-law, Henry Bruins.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m on Friday, September 8, 2023, at Netherland Reformed Church, W10890 Dead End Road, Waupun.

Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 8, 2023, at Netherland Reformed Church with Rev. Slingerland officiating. Burial will take place at the Alto Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Delores’ name for Preceptor Home Health and Hospice, W175 N11117 Stonewood Dr. Suite 100 Germantown, WI 53022.
