Delmar Lee Scheuers

Delmar Lee Scheuers, age 68, of Waupun went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, December 4, 2023, at his home.

Delmar was born on March 2, 1955, in Waupun, Wisconsin, the son of George and Hazel (Schouten) Scheuers. He was employed at Mayville Steel for a number of years before working for Gleason Reel Corporation of Mayville. Delmar believed in sharing the gospel and never losing salvation. He enjoyed going out the eat, especially at Ponderosa and Mateo’s. Delmar was a true outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, wildlife, and walking the nature trails on the marsh with his family. Delmar loved spending time with his grandchildren and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Delmar is survived by his children, Leah (Brandon) Ringenberg of Reeseville and Peter Scheuers of Webster, TX; grandchildren, Kira (Caleb) Bleier, Cole Ringenberg, Jada (Andrew) Grundahl, Tyra, Daniel, David, Benjamin and Ava Ringenberg; great grandchildren, Grayson Grundahl with one on the way in March; siblings, George (Elizabeth) Scheuers of Waupun, Marvin Scheuers of Waupun, Merle Scheuers of Fond du Lac, Rose (Del) Respalje of Dalton, Betty West of Oshkosh and Gloria Biermann of Beaver Dam. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter in infancy, Judith Eve Scheuers; parents; sister in infancy, Gladys Scheuers; brother, Richard Scheuers and brother-in-law, Mark West.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on December 11, 2023, at Kohls Community Funeral Home, 405 West Main Street, Waupun, WI 53963.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on December 11, 2023, at Kohls Community Funeral Home with Pastor Aaron Sturgill officiating. Burial will follow at Alto Cemetery.
