Catherine Marie Stellmacher

Catherine Marie Stellmacher, age 76 of Markesan, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021, in Markesan.

Catherine was born on January 22, 1945, daughter of Edward and Mina (Henke) Berg. On June 25, 1975, she was united in marriage to Roger Stellmacher at Faith Lutheran Church in Markesan. Catherine was baptized on February 4, 1945, by Pastor Huebner and confirmed on May 25, 1958, by Pastor Brockoop. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Markesan. Catherine was a CNA for 25 years. She enjoyed traveling to Montana with her husband Roger. Catherine was an avid reader, and enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. She will be deeply missed by many.

Catherine was survived by her five children, Kevin (Jill) Stellmacher of Port Washington, Scott (Jessica) Stellmacher of Markesan, Jeff (Kim) Remmenga of Oshkosh, Ronda (Scott) Davis of Markesan and Troy Stellmacher of Peru; grandmother of, Ava, Storm, Tandia, Jakob and Memphis Belle; great grandmother of Stella; four sisters, Mona Jahnke, Tina (Duane) Sauer, Marcella Lohrey and Josephine (Orrin) Luedke; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many great friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Jill Remmenga; eight brothers; one sister; brothers-in-law, Chuck Jahnke and DuWayne Lohrey.

Visitation for Catherine will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 18, 2021, at Faith Lutheran Church, N1529 State Road 73, Markesan.

A funeral service for Catherine will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 18, 2021, at Church with Pastor Matthew Ude officiating. Private burial will take place at the Markesan Cemetery.

A memorial fund had been established to Faith Lutheran Church, N1529 State Road 73, Markesan, WI 53946.
