Caroline Mae Pautsch-Burling

Caroline Mae Pautsch-Burling, age 56 of Brandon, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at Cherry Meadows Hospice in Appleton.

Caroline was born on February 7, 1967, in Wauwatosa, the daughter of Louis and Dorothy (Schmitz) Pautsch. She was baptized in the Lutheran faith on February 14, 1967. Caroline graduated from Waupun High School, class of 1985. She continued her education at Madison Tech School in Radiology. In her earlier years she enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. Caroline was very family oriented and her children meant the world to her. She was previously employed at hospitals in the area including, Beaver Dam Hospital, Mercy Hospital, and Aurora Health Care. Caroline also worked at Dodge Correctional Facility until retirement.

Caroline is survived by her son, Jacob (Jazmyne) Dahlke; daughter, Grace Burling; brother, Joseph Pautsch; canine companion, Roxy.  She is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law, Debra Pautsch.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2024, at Kohls Community Funeral Home, 405 West Main Street, Waupun, WI 53963.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2024, at Kohls Community Funeral Home with Pastor Pete Ostrander officiating. Inurnment will follow at Burnett Union Cemetery.
