Betty L. Sauerbrei

Betty L. Sauerbrei, age 74 of Markesan, was given her wings by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, November 27, 2023, at Juliette Manor in Berlin.

Betty was born on January 24, 1949, daughter of Elmer and Doris (Hemple) Lange. Betty graduated from Oconomowoc High School. She lived in Dousman, Whitewater and Fort Atkinson, before calling Markesan home. Though she worked in a circuit board assembly most of her career, she really loved her time driving a straight truck. Betty thoroughly enjoyed league bowling, crocheting, playing bingo and her dogs.

Betty is survived by her son, Dennis (Nancy A.) Sauerbrei; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; sister, Carol (Gary) Nelson; further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four aunts.

Visitation for Betty will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 1, 2023, at Markesan Community Funeral Home, 868 North Margaret Street, Markesan and on Saturday, December 2, 2023, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Markesan Community Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m.  on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Markesan Community Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Estabrooks Cemetery.
