Bernita E Kamp

Bernita Kamp, age 92 of Waupun passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017 at the Christian Home Rehabilitation Center in Waupun.

Bernita was born on July 23, 1925 in Mackford, WI, a daughter of Felix and Frieda (Mielke) Dych. On June 12, 1948 she was united in marriage to Arnold Kamp at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Markesan, WI. She enjoyed country living and tending to her flowers. Bernita had a love for cats. She was a member of the Fox Lake Ladies Auxiliary Unit 521 and was a lifelong member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Bernita is survived by one son, Steven (Terri) Kamp of Middleton and a grandson, Paul Hermann of Waupun; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold; a daughter, Arnita Hermann and two sisters, Charlotte (Harold) Tettenborn and Bonita (Chuck) Zellmer.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 Noon on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Grace Lutheran Church, 113 County Park Road, Waupun.

A funeral service for Bernita will be held at 12:00 Noon on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Grace Lutheran Church with Pastor David Cooper officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park in Fox Lake.

A memorial fund has been established in Bernita’s name.
