Arlene Ethel Bock, 88 of Beaver Dam, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018, surrounded by family at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.
Arlene was born on March 29, 1929, in South Beaver Dam, the daughter of Leo and Ethel (Hammer) Patzlsberger. On April 19, 1952, Arlene was united in marriage to Robert E. Bock at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Beaver Dam. The couple lived in Beaver Dam until moving to Wautoma, WI, in 1967. In the 1990’s, they relocated to Galva, IL.
Arlene was a resident of Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam for the past two years participating in many activities and made new friends there. Arlene enjoyed doing puzzles, playing card games and coloring, especially with her favorite great-great nephews and nieces.
Throughout her life, Arlene found great happiness in raising and showing her Arabian horses and winning many trophies and ribbons. Three of her favorites were Fonzi, Snoopy and Belle. Her other passion in life was caring for her Golden Retrievers, especially Tiki and Trixie.
Arlene is survived by her sister-in-law, Doris Patzlsberger of Randolph, WI, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert, in 2013, and her brother, Richard Patzlsberger in 2010.
Arlene will be deeply missed, but the memory of her will remain in our hearts forever.
