Anna Mae Herr

Anna Mae Herr, age 62 of Waupun, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, November 19, 2023.

Anna was born on April 27, 1961, in Milwaukee, daughter of Jerome and Patricia (Rewolinski) Herr. Anna graduated from Bayview High School with an additional two years of education at Milwaukee Area Technical College. She was employed with Mental Health Association Advocate Trainee since 1986. Anna was a member of Grand Avenue Club Member in Milwaukee since 1992 and AGLOW member since 1995. She worked with MATA as a television producer for Channel 14 from 1987-1991. In 2001, Anna donated one of her kidneys to her sister, Yvonne. She lived her entire life in Milwaukee until 1994, when she moved to Waupun, making her home known as “Dolphin Central”. Anna had a love for dolphins and always admired their resilience and bravery.

Anna is survived by her sister, Susan Schneider of Malone, WI; three brothers, Ronald (Marvel) Miller of Ft. Meyers, FL, John (Pat) Herr of West Allis, WI, and Henry (Melissa) Herr of Milwaukee; great niece, Scarlett Grace; beloved friend, Doddie (Mark) Anderson and special friends, the Frederick family. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerome and Patricia Herr; two sisters, Yvonne Herr and Charlene (Jim) Zeller; brother-in-law, Randy Schneider.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at St. Adalbert Chapel of Hope, 3801 South 6th Street Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53221.

A Celebration of Anna’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at St. Adalbert Chapel of Hope. Burial will follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the organ transplant clinic at St. Luke’s Hospital, 2900 West Oklahoma Avenue, WI 53215, in memory of her younger sister, Yvonne Herr.
